No one I know in this country approaches art collecting, public or private, with more engagement, knowledge and judgement than Trish Clark. She has one of the best eyes in the business.

I want to make a special mention of Trish Clark, who not only encouraged me to expand my initial concept of showing one of Anthony McCall’s solid light films into a full gallery exhibition, but then also helped us realise this project, both through her excellent contacts in New York and London and through her fundraising efforts on our behalf. The show would not have been what it is without her.

Director Adam Art Gallery, Wellington, New Zealand
Trish Clark has an impressive knowledge about contemporary art, and is one of a very few art professionals in New Zealand who can talk with authority also about art outside of the national scene. She is one of the very best art professionals in New Zealand, with an experience broad enough to be able to respond to a great variety of projects and requests. As the chair of the Advisory Panel for Public Art, she has contributed immensely to creating a consistent programme for public art in Auckland.

Formerly Public Art Manager, Auckland City Council
The adjacent Edmiston Gallery of Maritime Art had to be reduced by three metres to accommodate New Zealand’s America’s Cup winner NZL 32. That meant a total transformation of that gallery. We are fortunate to have on our Trust Board an art expert in Trish Clark who generously took on the role of our project art curator for the task and gave countless hours in gallery and exhibition design and finish, and in negotiating funding and art loans. We now have a world class art space that visitors enter after exiting the area dedicated to Sir Peter Blake.

I found Trish Clark to be an intelligent, charming and knowledgeable art adviser. You have found someone whom you can trust and at the same time can give you good advice. Good advisers are not easy to find in our business.

Trish is keenly intelligent and immensely practical, and remains totally imperturbable in the face of complex and changing logistics. Trish always works to the highest standards and encourages this trait in others, and I have observed her to be an adept and sensitive manager of all aspects of the projects we have worked on. She is a great pleasure to work with always!

Trish Clark has expertly guided my family and I through the labyrinthine international contemporary art world since 1993. A treasure!

Trish Clark has been PricewaterhouseCoopers' Art Consultant since 1993. Always a pleasure to work with, Trish’s knowledge and abilities are well respected by the Partners of PwC. She has led strategy with senior Partners, and done all the logistical work and installations (with a fine team) to implement our agreed strategies.
John Harvey
Retired Senior Partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers, New Zealand
I have greatly enjoyed a professional relationship with Trish Clark advising me on art matters since 1984, finding her a person of integrity, highly knowledgeable, possessed of a keen eye, and a great encouragement as I learnt more. Trish established two corporate collections with me, both noted for their quality and their difference, and has also assisted me in a private capacity.
